This cozy campfire session was favourite from last fall. We had planned to meet out at this amazing location.. and when the day came, it was freezing.
So cold. Like.. really really really cold.
As I was getting ready that morning, I messaged them and asked if they maaaaybe had the supplies to build a fire. I did have some firewood, but it was soaked from the early snow we had.. so I was really hoping they had everything. Not only that, but willing to bring along!
Thankfully, they did! …and they were really excited about it. Within minutes of meeting them there, we had a nice cozy fire going.. so we started the session with that, got nice and warm and then went adventuring.
My favourite way to do a session.. explore the area and have some fun along the way.
When we were finished up along the creek, they caught a few more cozy campfire moments. It really was perfect. Even with a six month old, they embraced the weather.. and I feel like we really did make the most of it!
