Hi all! I am not sure I have ever been as excited for a mini session announcement as I am right now! This one has me feeling proud. Really really proud.
You see, I have had this book since 1988.. since I was a little girl. It has a note from my grandma inside the front cover. I have held onto it for all of these years! I cherish it.
Actually, you may see an ongoing theme from here on out.. I’ll be channeling all those secret garden vibes in everything! Let’s just go ahead and call it the Secret Garden Era, shall we? haha! Ok ok, back to this set! It took me awhile to get going on it.. you see, I had this perfect feeeeeling of how I wanted it to be in my head. I knew how I wanted it to feel and once inspiration struck, it visually came together so fast!
I am obsessed.
Can you picture it? You and your littles cozied up in front of the canopy? Cuddles, story time, and that special motherhood bond. All of those fleeting moments.
Ohhhhh I can hardly wait! This will be magical! I am picturing a neutral inspired wardrobe, lots of tone on tone.. creams and whites, textures, beige, gold, sage, mauve and the palest of pink. I do have some wardrobe available and will hopefully update soon with options that I think will work well with this set design. If you are interested in available wardrobe, please feel free to let me know and I will send you what I have!
These sessions will take place at my home studio in Sexsmith, AB on May 27. Yep, these are after Mother’s Day this year.. and that is ok! Let’s celebrate motherhood all of the time, right? If you know someone special that would love to have a session with their babies (of any age).. perhaps your own mother, this would be the perfect gift! Or, maybe you would love a session for yourself.. gift cards are available and I can deliver locally before Mother’s Day! Not too late to drop some hint hints!
This would also be wonderful for a maternity session!
Sessions are $250, will be 20-30 minutes (fast enough for the little ones, but not too rushed so we can capture those relaxed tender moments) and include 8 high resolution digital images of your choice to print as you please! As always, there is a $100 non-refundable booking retainer to secure your session time.
